Koto - Studio

KOTO OPENS FOR BUSINESS IN BELFAST WITH IT’S SECOND DESIGN STUDIO.

We are delighted to announce the opening of our Belfast studio headed by one of our founders Theo Dales who is taking the lead with our ever growing portfolio of bespoke architectural commissions. This expansion allows the evolution of our prefabricated homes, and to develop tailored design commissions from concept through to on site completion.

‘‘OUR AMBITION IS TO DESIGN AND DELIVER BEAUTIFULLY SCULPTED HOMES AND BUILDINGS THAT SIT IN HARMONY WITH THEIR SURROUNDINGS AND HAVE AS LOW AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AS POSSIBLE.”

We are creating beautiful buildings that allow people to connect with nature and embrace outdoor living. For us the ambition for every project is to create a lifestyle experience that is centred around the Nordic concept Friluftsliv (pronounced free-loofts-liv), an expression that translates to “open-air living”. Norwegian poet Ibsen described the term as the value of spending time in the remote outdoors for spiritual and mental wellbeing.

“KOTO ARE BRINGING THEIR BRAND AND LIFESTYLE ETHOS TO THE GLOBAL MARKETPLACE THROUGH THEIR PREFABRICATED HOUSE DESIGNS AND NOW VIA BESPOKE DESIGN SERVICES.”

ZOE LITTLE - FOUNDER KOTO

“PREFABRICATED HOUSING STARTUP HAS LAUNCHED A SERIES OF MODULAR HOMES.”
