koto LIVING at BATTERSEA POWER STATION
Koto Living recently completed a residential interior design project within the iconic Battersea Power Station. The apartment was envisioned as a sanctuary in the city. A space that nurtures balance, tranquillity, and a sense of retreat amid the urban landscape.
In designing the residence, Koto Living honoured the building’s rich industrial heritage while weaving in its signature quiet luxury aesthetic, creating an atmosphere of calm that invites residents to pause, reconnect, and unwind.
The interiors were curated with intention, embracing natural, muted tones and organic materials that breathe life into the space. Each piece of furniture and accessory, selected from quality brands across Scandinavia and beyond, was chosen for its ability to infuse a sense of harmony and wellbeing. These elements work together to form a cohesive environment that supports luxury, relaxation, and a slower pace of living.
Thoughtful design extends to the colour scheme, which complements the original brickwork and enhances the flow of light through Battersea Power Station's distinctive steel-framed windows. The carefully chosen hues create a soothing atmosphere, allowing light to gently illuminate the space and foster a restorative environment.
