Embracing Sustainability With Prefabricated Hotel Cabins

‘Sustainable Design for Hospitality and Tourism Industries.’

One of the original Koto products is the beautifully crafted small and mighty Muutama cabin,  ideal for retreats or holiday rentals. A flexible space solution, maximising every square inch, the Muutama ensures comfort and ease of use.

Open floor spaces, high ceilings, and large facade openings produce a free-flowing environment connected to the outside world. The highest quality finishes, fixtures, fittings and furnishings truly create a unique and luxurious space for those looking to escape and relax away from home.

Catering to tourists’ unyielding desire for eco-friendly vacations has initiated many chains and retreats across the world to embrace and invest in sustainable modular hotels

Modular construction has many sustainability benefits compared with traditional methods; it minimises waste and construction time, requires much less energy, and standardises production quality across modules.

Likewise, the economic benefits of opening a hotel or retreat far sooner than if constructed traditionally can create months of additional revenue, which can be particularly enticing for new ventures.

Koto are engaged with a number of hotel and spa projects in the UK and beyond, and are perfectly equipped to transcend your sustainable hospitality dreams into reality.

| Modular Hotel Construction.

Hytte (Norwegian for Cabin) - the new modular hotel and retreat concept co-created by Koto Design and Aylott + Van Tromp - designs, furnishes, and delivers design-led, sustainable cabins specifically for the hotel and leisure industry in Europe and the United States.

The partnership delivers an off-the-shelf, ready to go design for hoteliers and leisure operators alike.

The concept is based upon a modular cabin unit that ranges upwards to multiple unit configurations; this, in turn, is based around the idea of a traditional village community.

| Prefabricated Hotel and Retreat Projects.

With the increase in popularity towards innovative and sustainable design, modular prefabricated construction is becoming the method of choice for the hospitality industry.
