Contemporary spa and hotel concepts by Koto Design
‘Revive in tranquillity with Koto’s spa facilities.’
Koto’s catalogue of Scandinavian-inspired designs displays a growing range of stunning modern homes, state of the art sustainable cabins and relaxing spa facilities. Created for all year round use, our spa cabins and facilities serve as luxury getaways from the daily grind, encouraging people to give way to relaxation.
Off grid Saunas and wood fired hot tubs have evolved to be key components in the makeup of purpose-built retreats, but in more recent years, there has been a steady uptake of people seeking access to such facilities in their own home spaces and at holiday retreats and hotels.
The ever-growing appeal of spas derives from the many proven wellness benefits they have on both body and mind. Dating back centuries, spa services have long been used by civilisation for balanced personal well-being to combat stress, release toxins, soothe muscles and joints, improve cardiovascular health, skin restoration, and reduce anxiety.
At Koto, we are passionate about creating beautiful eco-designs that promote well-being. Through our modular cabins, spa facilities and bespoke offerings, we are delighted to be able to provide high-quality wellness facilities that act as meditative and communal spaces for the user. -

For spa owners, homeowners, or hotels and developers who are looking to expand into spa services, Koto’s unusual sauna, gym spaces, hot tubs and wellness concepts come with the bonus of being available off-grid.
Rejuvenate in the Koto Loyly sauna.
Named Loyly, which translates from Finnish to “a cloud of steam” or put differently “the envelope of heat and steam that surrounds you in the sauna as water is poured onto the hot rocks.” The timber-clad mono-pitched building is in keeping with Koto’s Nordic aesthetic.
The Loyly experience enriches the user’s well-being and fulfilment by creating a space to relax and come together with family and friends whether on the ground or on the water.
Crafted by our world-class manufacturing partners to withstand harsh weather, the wood-fired sauna provides shelter, warmth and an opportunity to fully immerse in nature. Available on and off-grid, the Loyly is a sculptural interpretation of the small buildings that you see across Europe, from Bothys to Alpine huts and Norwegian Hytte; these small pitched roof buildings are an integral part of the landscape.
Soak in the Koto wood-fired hot tub.
Step away from the every day and dip in the Koto wood-fired hot tub. A space to soak under the stars and make the most of the outdoors, as well as private meditation to improve mind, body and soul.
Koto designed spa complexes.
Koto are engaged with a number of hotel and spa projects in the UK and beyond, and are perfectly equipped to transcend your sustainable hospitality dreams into reality. Koto Spa projects range from single cabin items such as wood fired saunas up to large spa complexes including yoga rooms, treatment rooms, gyms and saunas.
Cosy up in the Koto Muutama hotel room and spa cabin.
For a slightly smaller pool house or treatment room, the 25m2 Muutama cabin is as eye-catching as it is functional. Packed with a minimalist personality, the Muutama is designed with large facade openings, high finishes and furnishings to create a space of luxury and humbling escapism
We build each of our architect-designed homes and cabins to last with the highest quality craftsmanship and the closest attention to detail. To ensure our products are carbon-neutral, our products are built off-site and arrive to site complete with premium fixtures and fittings installed.
If you have a spa project that you think we could help with, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with Poppy at poppy@kotocabins.com.
