Over the past few years, we have felt incredibly grateful and humbled by the growth of our Koto community. For those who are new to joining us, we are delighted to introduce Koto Living: an Interior Design studio synonymous with the creation of beautifully crafted interiors.

Established by Koto, Koto Living delivers projects that are both associated with and independent of Koto, offering clients a full turnkey solution for exclusive interior design, bespoke furniture packs, and furniture procurement.

Our Approach

Taking inspiration from considered Scandinavian design and Japanese minimalism, Koto Living’s approach remains holistic and nurtures a ‘quiet luxury’ aesthetic.

The studio works closely with private and commercial clients alike; partnering with developers, hospitality, and home owners to bring refined interior design and unique furniture pack visionary dreams to reality.

Project commissions include interior concepts that are still in the planning stages to the complete refurbishment of existing spaces - from individual luxury homes and cabins, to hotels, to multi-unit residential developments.

Whilst Koto Living delivers turnkey interior design for clients across the globe, we also provide a separate luxury furniture package service tailored to a specific space and our client’s requirements.

Whether for a brand new apartment development or a private home in need of furniture styling, we curate, order, store, deliver and assemble luxury furniture and accessories. From bespoke sofas to unique artwork, our furniture packs ensure a seamless and hassle-free installation process from concept to completion.

At Koto Living, we are passionate about collaborating with innovative homeware brands who are working to a more ethical and sustainable way of manufacture. By curating hand-crafted furniture and accessories made using natural materials, we ensure each item is durable and responsible sourced.

Procurement, Delivery, and Installation of Furniture

For clients who already have a list of desired items in mind, we also offer a hassle-free personal shopping service where we procure, deliver and install your chosen furniture.

You can provide us with a shopping wish list, and we will source the best prices for all the furniture and accessory items you desire, leaving you to relax and enjoy the transformation of your space.

With our extensive network of trusted suppliers and makers, our team will ensure that you acquire pieces of the highest quality and durability. About Koto.

Modular Architecture - Sustainable by necessity.

Koto delivers beautifully crafted, architect designed, energy neutral homes and cabins. All our buildings are produced to the very highest standards and delivered whole and complete directly to your site. Every Koto home has been crafted with the utmost respect for both our environment and the people we work with. The Koto studio co-founded by Zoe, Johnathon and Theo design modular houses, cabins and sculptural small buildings, with each one drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design and culture. Co-founders, Johnathon and Zoë Little, returned from living on the shores of Norway’s fjords with a deep appreciation of the local aesthetic and environment. As the brand progressed, Koto began looking further east to the minimalist world of Japanese design and their focus on social functionality. This is something that has always fascinated co-founder and architect Theo Dales. Koto shares their emphasis on clean and simple details that provide a sense of calm. This exploration has helped Koto’s designs evolve into the carefully-considered works they are today.
